Skyl-Tech pressure and vacuum feedthroughs will positively seal both the round and oval cross-section sensor and thermocouple leads used in thermal validation studies for pressures to 200 psia and vacuums to 10 microns. Our feedthroughs are fabricated from pharmaceutical-quality Type 316 stainless steel and silicone rubber. Our pressure and vacuum feedthroughs are available in a range of sizes that accommodate from 1 to 24 thermocouples or other thermal validation sensors and probes.
Our pressure and vacuum sealing glands do not develop leaks with constant handling and usage in thermal validation sudies. Broken type T thermocouples are easy to remove and replace: simply loosen the pressure cap, pull out the old wire sensor, insert a new thermocouple and hand-tighten the pressure cap.
