Backed by 25 years of hands-on validation experience, Skyl-Tech has developed an easier way to introduce sensor wires into pressure and vacuum vessels such as sterilizers, lyophilizers, vacuum ovens and barometric chambers. Skyl-Tech FEEDTHRUs, featuring PV-Seal technology, eliminate the problems associated with other sealing glands, cumbersome sandwiched double flanges and in-house potted seals. They seal effectively, save time, and greatly simplify the work of validation studies.

Skyl-Tech FEEDTHRUs will positively seal both round and oval cross-section sensor and thermocouple leads for pressures to 200 psia and vacuums to 10 microns. Our FEEDTHRUs are fabricated from pharmaceutical-quality Type 316 stainless steel and silicone rubber. They are available in a range of sizes that accommodate from 1 to 24 sensors.

Our FEEDTHRUs do not develop leaks with handling and usage. Broken sensors are easy to remove and replace: simply loosen the pressure cap, pull out the old sensor, insert a new sensor and hand-tighten the pressure cap. The seal is restored.
